FAITH BASED AFFILATION

Chalice

Project IMPACT is a recognized unit of the Pacific Southwest Region of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) focusing on strengthening children, youth and families who are at risk.  Project IMPACT has grown from a local service delivery program serving families living in and around South Central Los Angles to a nationally recognized model service provider that has been recognized by the President of the United States.

Many congregations want to solve the problems of children, youth and families who are at risk, the question is how? Project IMPACT provides a faith based model for congregations who wish to develop their capacity to offer response and hope.

Project IMPACT Welcomes Dan Oliver
as Director of Community and Faith Relations

We are happy to announce that Rev. Dan Oliver has joined the staff of Project IMPACT as our Director of Community and Faith Relations. This position was newly created for Dan who comes to us following 10 years of dynamic ministry as Director of Church Relations at Chapman University. He brings a wealth of experience and relationship with all levels of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Dan will help lead our efforts to promote Project IMPACT as a new relational model of ministry that helps to transform at risk children, youth and families.

Dr. Matt Harris, founder of Project IMPACT shares his enthusiasm of Dan coming on staff. “Dan brings unique gifts and talents that will help us take our message of hope off the drawing board, out of the books and journals, and fashion it into a practical lifestyle, our message of hope has become a way of life.”
