MENTORING

Be a Mentor - Each Project IMPACT Center needs dedicated and caring men and women who are willing to be mentors to the youth that have graduated from the Project IMPACT program.  The role of the mentor is to provide a supportive one-to-one relationship between an adult and an at-risk youth to assist the youth with his or her educational, social and personal growth in order for them to become responsible, productive and contributing members of their respective communities and society as a whole.

Prior to a youth being assigned to a mentor, the mentor will be interviewed and a background screening will be performed to ensure the mentor is a responsible person and is truly able and willing to devote the time and energy it takes to be a mentor.  Please contact a Project IMPACT Center near you for further information.
