Message
from The Executive Director
Since the
inception of Project IMPACT - Dayton, we have seen lives
restored and transformed, families reconciled, and children excelling in school, just to
name a few. The families we serve have limited resources, are faced with barriers
that stifles their motivation for success. But by the time they graduate from PID's
prevention program they are highly motivated to go on to the next step - self sufficiency.
To reach this end, for some it means getting their GED and/or job readiness
training. In any case, the PID staff is committed to walk with these families
through this journey.
Our vision is
strong, healthy, and economically independent families, in committed relationships,
contributing to the positive well being of their communities. As we walk in the
spirit of love, we can empower and equip these families for success. The principles
that guide us through this journey are:
All
families regardless of ethnic, social or economic background, have the inherent potential
to succeed;
Children/Youth
experience positive growth and development in healthy, nurturing families;
Families
are restorative; they can be reconciled and equipped with the knowledge and skill to be
transformed and empowered.
Given the
above, the driving force which compels us for work is knowing that: 1) PID is of God; 2)
we are Co-laborers with God; 3) we are driven by vision (SOULS); 4) we are motivated by
compassion and commission; and 5) we are committed to develop the TOTAL man.
Project IMPACT - Dayton, Inc. welcomes you to our
Web site and encourages you to inquire about the services and program of Project IMPACT - Dayton. We appreciate your
prayers and support of our ministry to the youth in our community,
In His
Service,
Charlotte D.
