Computer Training

Project IMPACT - Indianapolis has just completed the investment of over $150,000 in a state of the art computer lab. The lab consists of twelve (12) 586-computers that are equipped with a variety of multi-media capabilities. Youth in the program are provided with computer instruction that results in the acquisition of new computer skills as well as the sharpening of existing computer skills. This training includes basic typing, basic word processing, spreadsheets/worksheets, and basic computer applications. Multimedia games and learning tools are also used to strengthen the youth in the areas of reading, math, and science.
